Are you keen to be more creative and to implement new ideas?
Are you tasked with coming up with solutions to challenges and problems?
Would you like some techniques to help othersWe’re Stella Collins and Ann Grindrod, and we’ve been working together since 2001, to help thousands of people to use their brains effectively and unleash their creativity, enabling them to solve problems more easily and to get more innovative results.
But before we go any further …
We want you to reflect on how creative you think you are already.
So firstly consider times when you know you have been creative in any way, shape or form; perhaps you made something, solved a problem, gave someone an idea, wrote something new, or just daydreamed.
Reflecting on the environment you were in, what enabled you to use that creative brain?
And secondly, consider how you’ve solved many of the challenges that you have been faced with already.
There is a commonly held myth that some people are creative whilst others aren’t – or are less so. We believe that everyone is creative in their own way but that it’s not always acknowledged as creativity. People who work in the arts, or who have artistic hobbies, are often assumed to be more creative than those who work in technology or science.
And it is true, as with any talent or skill, there are people who are better at harnessing their creativity; however, we can all improve our creative thinking skills to get better results and also to improve our wellbeing.
So we’ve produced our second ebook to lay this myth to rest and to provide information, evidence and tools for you to increase your creative talents.
‘This e-book is a little gem’ (Vanessa Randle), from which you will learn:

What do others think about this ebook?
We've trialled our book with some diverse readers first, and here's what they said:
“This neat little book challenges the normal perceptions of creativity and will help left brained people recognise and develop their natural creativity and resourcefulness. The comparison of what it is to be creative from an artist and from someone that began thinking she was not creative, provides lots of inspiration and ideas. I will be putting into practise ‘freeing myself to be bored.’ Stella and Ann practise what they teach by making the book multisensory and hands on. (I suspect many scientists will skip this bit to start with but it is worth going back and forcing yourself to participate). Plus the book provides a really useful base for running training sessions!”
Dr Sue Couling, Teaching Fellow and Skills Development, Department of Chemistry, University of York.
“This e-book is a little gem. It’s packed with loads of practical ideas to encourage me to be even more creative; all of which are supported by just enough factual information. I particularly liked the effective combination of words, pictures and colour; that appealed to me, as well as the great balance between reading, doing, thinking and listening (to the music!). I did feel, by the time I’d worked through to the end, that I’d created some new neural pathways, strengthened some existing ones and stretched one or two I’d forgotten about. Thank you!”
Vanessa Randle, Thinking Visually Ltd / Graphics Made Easy – www.thinkingvisually.com
“This is a great ebook that shows how everyone can become more creative, not only people involved in artistic pursuits like art, literature and poetry. I used to incorrectly think that creativity should be relatively easy and straightforward. I now know that it can require effort and perseverance! Perhaps others may have the same misconception that I had. The message is don't quickly give up, you may need to persevere to be creative. I particularly like the 5-step logical creativity process and have already started using it. It really works!”
